Terms of Service

1. Our Services & Products

The Wallpaper Kids provides the following services and products:

  • Readily available wallpapers
  • Bespoke wallpaper designs for residential and commercial spaces
  • Art prints
  • Wallpaper removal, wall preparation, and wallpaper installation
    (Installation services are available within the UAE only)

These Terms apply to all services and products, unless otherwise stated in writing.

 

 

2. Readily Available Wallpapers

  • All readily available wallpaper designs are produced to order
  • No changes can be made to readily available artwork
  • Once an order is placed, refunds cannot be processed

Measurements

  • If a site visit has not been arranged by our team, accurate dimensions are the client’s responsibility
  • Myneandyours FZ LLC will not be liable for incorrect dimensions supplied by the client

 

 

3. Custom Wallpaper Designs

(Please read our process carefully)

To help streamline the artwork process, custom wallpaper artwork is developed in three key stages:

  1. Initial Sketch – exploring composition and overall concept
  2. Colour Blocking – defining colour palettes and mood
  3. Final Refinement & Print Preparation – refining details and preparing the artwork for production

Feedback & Revisions

  • At each stage, we welcome your feedback and provide one round of comments
  • All feedback must be provided in one consolidated round at each stage
  • Adjustments will be made based on this feedback and shown for approval before moving to the next stage

Any additional rounds of changes beyond the first at each stage:

  • Will be chargeable, and
  • May delay production timelines

Once we move forward to the next stage, we cannot return to a previous stage due to the complexity of the work involved.

If changes are requested that require revisiting a previous stage:

  • An additional fee will apply
  • The fee will depend on the complexity of the requested changes
  • The fee will be communicated in advance
  • If the fee is not approved and paid, we cannot return to a previous stage

Timelines

Estimated turnaround for the creative process and production is up to 4 weeks, subject to:

  • Artwork complexity
  • Timeliness of client feedback
  • Printing and installation schedules

If an accelerated timeline is required:

  • This must be discussed beforehand
  • It will be treated as a rush order
  • Additional charges may apply

Refunds

Once payment is made and custom artwork has commenced, refunds will not be accepted or processed.

 

 

4. Colours, Materials & Variations

  • Colours may vary between digital previews and printed wallpapers
  • Variations due to screen settings, lighting, materials, and substrates are normal
  • These variations are not considered defects

 

 

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Replacements

Readily Available Wallpapers

  • Non-refundable once production has started
  • Replacement will only be provided if:
    • Wallpaper arrives damaged, or
    • There is a printing defect

Custom Wallpapers

  • Non-refundable once work has started

 

 

6. Installation (If Applicable)

Where installation services are included:

  • Installation timelines are estimates and may vary depending on site readiness and external factors
  • The site must be fully prepared prior to installation
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by site access issues, surface conditions, or third-party contractors

Wall & Site Preparation Requirements

To ensure a successful installation, the following conditions must be met prior to installation:

  • Walls must be smooth, free of cracks and holes, with edges that are level, smooth, and clean
  • Walls must be level and free of any undulation
  • If surfaces are gypsum or wood-based, they must be:
    • Painted and primed using a wood primer
    • Allowed 24–48 hours to dry fully prior to installation
  • If surfaces are concrete, they must be:
    • Painted and primed using a suitable primer
    • Allowed 24–48 hours to dry fully prior to installation
  • All wall preparation must be completed prior to installation
    Failure to meet these requirements may result in project delays and/or additional costs
  • Surfaces must be free of dust and debris, and wallpaper installation should only take place after all major construction work has been completed

Environmental Conditions

  • Air conditioning must be fully operational during installation and remain on for 24 hours following installation to allow the wallpaper to dry correctly
  • The Wallpaper Kids accepts no liability for issues arising if air conditioning is not functioning as required

Drawings & Dimensions

  • The Wallpaper Kids accepts elevations, CAD drawings, and dimensions supplied by the client or appointed third parties as accurate
  • Artwork will be designed and printed based on the information provided
  • The Wallpaper Kids accepts no liability for incorrect dimensions supplied

 

 

7. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • All artwork, illustrations, designs, and patterns remain the intellectual property of The Wallpaper Kids
  • Clients are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the final artwork only for the agreed project and location
  • Source files, editable files, and working files are not provided
  • Artwork may not be copied, reproduced, resold, licensed, or reused without written permission

Licensing for broader or commercial use can be discussed separately.

 

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Wallpaper Kids shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific product or service

 

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

 

 

10. Acceptance

By completing your payment, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms of Service
  • You agree to be legally bound by them
