Our Story
Children are bursting with creativity and imagination; harnessing it through visual language lies at the heart of what we do. By exploring children's interests and bringing their imaginations to life, we evoke wonder about the world around them. Together with our family of illustrators from around the world and experts in children's sensory development and sleep, we have curated wallpapers that speak a child's language and nurture their development and overall well-being.
Through our experiences, we've learnt it's the littlest of things that can affect our children's perceptions. If there's one way we can help you on your journey, it's through passing our knowledge on to you.

Our Story
“My journey as a mum has taken me up, down, sideways, and back. I have learnt more about myself in my six years as a mum as I have in all the years leading up to it, and I keep on learning.
In listening to all the wisdom that my two boys share with me, I have begun to realise that the answers are right in front of me. My boys are right in front of me, and their needs, which sometimes appear abstract, are certainly not. They embody the child that lives in each one of us.
We began to understand how our children’s environments help shape their personality; how the experiences we provide help shape their understanding; how their surroundings influence their interaction. It’s not just a simple blue circle on the wall. It’s a portal into new worlds in which we create stories. We dream to imagine, and creativity helps us solve problems.

Our Mission
A child’s bedroom or playroom is more than just a room. It is a place of safety, comfort and belonging, as well as a backdrop for their imagined worlds. It is their own sanctuary for exploring and self-regulating. Our mission is to help parents create spaces where their little explorers can navigate the seas, expand their minds, and, when it comes time, settle down into a cosy, safe space and drift off, ready to start all over again.
How We Do It
At The Wallpaper Kids, no details are overlooked. Our unique hand-drawn illustrations are designed by our family of international children’s book illustrators who know how to bring stories to life with the guidance and input of our children’s sensory and sleep experts.
Safety and environmental standards are of the utmost importance to us. We only use PVC-free antimicrobial paper, water-based ink and non-toxic paste.
We aim to deliver a simple and easy customer journey from product selection and measurement to delivery and installation. As parents, we know that time is a luxury, and we are here to make it easy for you and figure out all the hard stuff.
