Orders from our wallpaper library typically have an estimated delivery time of one week. If you have purchased our installation service, the turnaround time is roughly two weeks from placing your order to installation.

Once you have purchased your order, we will prepare the artwork to the dimensions of your wall. No wall is the same, and we may have to recompose a bit of the artwork to fit your wall. We aim to get this done within 2-3 days. If we require any longer we will let you know. Once this is complete, printing will take around 5 days depending on how busy the printer is and how big your wall is. Once the printing process is complete, we will either ship your wallpaper to your specified address, or be in touch with you to schedule a convenient time to come and install your wallpaper. 

Custom wallpapers follow a different timeline depending on your requirements.

We love working with our customers to make their vision come to life! Some of the wallpapers from our library can be customised before placing your order, for example adding your child’s name, or adding/removing certain elements. Some colour palettes can also be customised however it’s important to note that all our colours are designed to promote wellbeing for your little ones. Alternatively, we offer custom wallpapers, where we work closely with you and your child to develop precisely what you want and need. We’ll involve you in the process, and we won’t charge you a penny. For anyone who doesn’t reach out to us, we’ll pick it up in the order process and will get in touch with you before we begin printing.

The simple answer is no. It will look amazing, but nothing is ever the same on the screen and in real life. There will be slight colour differences and textural elements that may be more obvious on a big wall than on a little screen. We may also have to move some elements around to fit the dimensions of your wall. No walls are ever the same, making every wallpaper unique – that’s the beauty of our customised artwork.

Of course! Printed materials vary from their online counterparts. There can be slight colour differences and textural
elements that may be more obvious when holding a sample or seeing it on a big wall. Click the sample option next to your chosen wallpaper, and we'll send it to you. If you decide on that particular wallpaper, we will deduct the sample cost from the final cost.

Wallpaper does best if there is some ventilation. Crack a window or turn on the fan and you should be just fine, just avoid the shower.

Unfortunately, while we understand that things can change once the wallpaper has been printed, we can’t make any changes or offer an exchange or refund. We lovingly prepare every order just for you, and there is nowhere else it can go.

If, for any reason, there is a defect in the print, please let us know as soon as you can. If you have noticed anything at the time of installation, we will look at it with you. If a wallpaper is defective, we will replace it free of charge. Please remember that things on the screen will not look the same in real life. There will be slight colour differences and textural elements that may be more obvious on a big wall than on a screen. And, of course, no walls are ever the same; that’s the beauty of our custom artwork.

Installation is optional if you purchase from our online library, however it is highly recommended to add installation to your order as our expert team will ensure it’s done just right. For all custom wallpapers, installation and wall prep is included in the service.

Your walls must be ready for wallpaper installation. To ensure a smooth process and the best outcome, please ensure the walls are smooth, which means no cracks, holes, nails, or bumps. They must be free of dirt, moisture and any existing wallpaper. If you have questions, please email us at hello@thewallpaperkids.com and we can provide guidance. We can also do the wall preparation for you, simply add it to your order and we will take care of it.

If we arrive at your lovely home, and feel that your wall is not ready to be installed on, you will still have the option for us to prepare your wall for you. We will just need to amend the schedule a bit.

All our wallpaper is free of vinyl, VOCs, PVC and phthalates. That means no plastics, no chemicals, and none of the toxic stuff. We print with latex inks, which are water-based and non-toxic. Our wallpaper is breathable, meaning air can pass through it preventing mould build-up. The adhesive we use has no VOCs. We wouldn’t put anything in your home that we wouldn’t put in our own.

You’ll be happy to hear that all of our prints are water-resistant and washable! :) We recommend wiping your wallpaper in horizontal strokes with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water and soap. Try not to use any chemical cleaning solutions. The mermaids, ballerinas, elephants and superheroes would prefer it if their colours weren’t smudged.

Please remember that the little scuff marks that may appear throughout the years are all moments to be cherished. Embrace how your kids interact and grow with their walls. Every scuff is a memory.

It will stay up until you decide to remove it :) Our wallpaper is breathable meaning air can pass through it preventing any mould build up, it is FSC certified, and it’s wipeable. With a little love and care it will stay up until you decide to remove it. And remember, those little scuffs and marks that may appear over the course of its life are all moments to be cherished.
